Fantasy Football

By Jay Pepe

OK....so it's week 12 of the NFL and many of us fantasy football lovers are still in the hunt for clinching a playoff spot. Many of you may have been lucky enough to of secured a playoff spot. I have been playing fantasy football for years and when I say years I mean years. I'm talking back of the days of Boomer Esiason and Warren Moon and the run and shoot....which is nothing more then a "Spread Offense", but that is a whole other topic.

So my cringing thought is how I hate to have to rely on another team in my league to beat a team for me, so I can get into the playoffs. Talk about not being in control of your own destiny!!

Despite having to get some help to get into the playoffs it's all about who you start!!! So here are my suggestions for week 12 to get each of you into the Fantasy Promise Land!!!

Start E'm
QB-Kurt Warner, Talking about Phoenix Rising! Kurt is my MVP winner hands down a winning record in Arizona and two fantastic WRs to throw to! Despite playing a solid Giants pass rush...he has done it all year and can't be out of your line ups

Sit E'm
QB-D. Mcnabb, Ok how can you be a starting QB and not know that if you don't score in O.T. that the game will end in a tie??? For that reason alone he shouldn't be in your starting lineups. All joking aside be sure to sit him against a super tough Ravens defense who are looking to avenge a blow out to the Giants.

Start E'm
WR-Fitzgerald, Boldin (see Warner above) But another guy who should post solid numbers and is scoring a lot of points in PPR leagues is Wes Welker. I look for him to catch at least 7 passes and find the end zone against the Dolphins. Also look for a strong REBOUND game from Lee Evans after his big goose egg last week!

Sit E'm
WR-Chad Johnson, it should be Ocho ZERO point Zero.point Zero. He had 2 TDs against Jacksonville a few weeks back, but he is clearly not the go to guy in Cinny. Not to mention he is catching balls like Dwight "hands of" Stone from years ago in Pittsburg. Other WR who should be riding the pine this week is Issac Bruce and Ronald Curry. Issac is no longer a factor being passed on the depth cart by Josh Morgan and Jason Hill. Ronald Curry had a solid stat line last week.....but even though they are playing Denver...the Raiders are well...the Raiders

STAY TUNED FOR THE REST OF THE LINEUP VERY SOON!
